They are very good excercise socks, or you can wear them as casual socks. I really like them. The only complaint that I have is the size chart was not clear. I wear 9 1/2 shoes and I bought medium ones. They fit very snug, almost a little too small. I'm actually OK with that. But if you like the socks a little looser, you may want to go with the large(if you wear 9 or 9 1/2 shoes).
