I bought a pair after a friend sang their praises. Putting them on initially felt strange because there is no hard heel to support, but it took only a day of errand-running to get used to it. I'm not so sure about taking inches off thighs or toning the buttocks, as I have not felt any muscle soreness or pull in any areas. I haven't worn these while fitness walking, however, only around town where I'm sitting/standing/walking frequently and changing position. I will say these shoes are VERY comfortable, and I can walk a good deal in them without feeling foot fatigue or discomfort. I love them for that alone. I think my posture may improve a little bit, but I would need to see a photo of myself with the shoes on and without to really be sure. I've tried modifying my gait when I walk some to work on different muscles, but really haven't had an opportunity to try them out long distance.
