I did tests with Polar insulated bottles against standard bottles and they do keep your drink cooler for longer. Another advantage I found is that they develop less condensation than standard bottles. Wet bottles are slippery and these stay relatively dry. I was disappointed with the gold colored bottle because its not gold. Its really a darkler bronze or copper color. I have a gold bike and was hoping it would match.
